Welcome!
If this is your first time visiting us, welcome! We love helping families and consider children a blessing from God. It is our prayer and desire that we would see our children's faith begin and last a lifetime at New Light.
What to expect
Classes
We currently offer two classes: Toddlers-PreK (ages .5-5) and K-5th grade (ages 6-12). Children stay with parents during singing, announcements, and prayer, and then are dismissed to their classes before the sermon begins. During Sunday School, we build relationships with each child and we teach and demonstrate God’s love through songs, bible stories, and scripture memorization. Our goal is to help children hide God’s word in their hearts so they will not sin against God. (Psalms 119:11)
Please note, children of all ages are always welcome to sit in the main gathering with their family or caretaker.

Vision
To see our children's faith in Jesus Christ begin and last a lifetime. (2 Timothy 4:7)
Mission
In order to accomplish this vision, our ministry has three pillars:
1. Equip parents
Parents are the disciple-makers of their children. (Deut. 6:4-9, Psalm 78:4-7, Proverbs 22:6). Our hope is to equip parents to adore Jesus, love His church, and live on mission to see Christ’s kingdom come to earth while authentically modeling this to their children.
2. Integrate children into the life of the church
We want our children to view church as family (Ephesians 4:16, Psalm 145:4, Joel 2:15-16). Our hope is to create and facilitate an environment where our children grow up with a rich web of relationships with the full congregation and live on mission with church members of all ages.
3. Build a gospel-centered program
We want all to come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and join in the mission. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Luke 19:10)
