We are a church that joins in God's ongoing work of reconciling all things to Himself here in Seattle. We seek to empower others to show the love of God by being faithfully present in Seattle, being engaged in the specific needs and concerns of our neighborhoods, and addressing the reasons for the inequalities present in our community.

Food Distribution
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10am-12pm, New Light has a free grocery program for the church and local community. We go until the food runs out.
Gun Violence
We partner with C.A.S.T. (Community Aftercare Suport Team), a local non-profit organization, to minister to families and communities affected by gun violence in South Seattle.
Racial Reconciliation Network (RRN)
We partner with The Racial Reconciliation Network (racereconciliation.com) who is actively pursuing greater degrees of gospel-centered unity, specifically focused on overcoming racial divisions within the Christian community. RRN is connecting Christians who have historically been alienated from each other, and intentionally engaging in conversations, fellowship, worship, and doing biblical justice in our communities together. We long to see many more people reconciled to God, as the result of diverse groups of Christians being reconciled to each other.
Missional Community
A missional community is a family on mission. Better yet, it's a family of Jesus followers on mission with God, declaring and demonstrating the Gospel to a specific pocket of people in our specific contexts. We pursue consistent rhythms of eating together, seeking God together, and serving together so that our community would be transformed by the gospel. We focus on serving the needs of individuals and families in our local neighborhoods.
