Elder Bouie grew up in Miami, Florida and relocated to Seattle in 1982. He has been married to his wife Lesia for over 25 years, father of 4 (Alesha, Isaiah, DeShanna and Andre Jr.). Employed as a Transit Operator for King County Metro for over 30 years.

He has faithfully served at New Light Christian Church for over 20 years as:

  • Small-Group, Home Bible study coordinator/instructor
  • Men’s Ministry Leader
  • Music Ministry Director
  • Praise & Worship Leader
  • Sunday school teacher
  • Pastoral Assistant
  • Current Elder (NLCC)

 Founder and president of the Gospel Training Course (GTC) since 2005, Elder Bouie has taught fundamental Christian essentials throughout many local churches in the Seattle, King County area and has served as:

  • King County Juvenile Detention Chaplin volunteer
  • Echo Glen Children’s Detention Chaplin volunteer
  • Prisoners for Christ volunteer
  • Cedar Hills Drug Rehabilitation volunteer

 Elder Bouie's deepest desire is to utilize his God-given gifts and abilities

“for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12)
