We are a church that joins in God's ongoing work of reconciling all things to Himself here in Seattle and the United States. We seek to empower others to show the love of God by being faithfully present in Seattle, being engaged in the specific needs and concerns of our neighborhoods, and addressing the reasons for the inequalities present in our community and the nation. Jeremiah 29:7 says to "seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

Hillman City Neighborhood Association
We volunteer at the Hillman City Neighborhood Association's annual block party.
Georgetown Tiny Home Village
Our members donate food and clothing, which, along with contributions from our community and neighbors, we deliver regularly to our friends living at the Georgetown Tiny Home Village.
Bread of Life Mission
We participate in weekly chapel at BreadofLifeMission.org in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle, and transport their guests to attend our Sunday services in Hillman City.
The Crete Collective
In 1992, New Light was planted to declare and demonstrate the gospel in a distressed and neglected Black neighborhood in inner-city Seattle. With this as our history, in 2023, we joined as a member church of TheCreteCollective.org to establish gospel-centered churches in distressed and neglected Black and Brown communities across the United States.
