New Light will be hosting our All-Church Summer Retreat August 12-14 at the Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center in Stanwood, WA. As we are in the new season of our church, we wanted to spend quality time together in the beautiful outdoors. The cost is $160 per adult and $24 per child (4 & under). Cost includes two nights of lodging and six meals. Can I get more info about Warm Beach Conference Center?

What are the sleeping accommodations? 

Men and Women will stay separately in the new Chinook Cabins. Click here to see the layout. 
Families with young children will stay at the Warner House. Click here for layout.

What about transportation? 

Warm Beach is about 1.5hrs from New Light. We are encouraging everyone to take their cars to travel up there. Please contact the church office if you need a ride. We can provide carpooling.

What do I need to bring? 

We will provide specific packing details closer to the event. We encourage you to bring appropriate clothing, toiletries, bible, pen, and a journal. 

What are we doing there? 

The purpose of our retreat is for fellowship and growing in our faith together. We will have low-key "chapel" times Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning. On Saturday, we will have to time for swimming, min-golf, canoeing, archery, and more! 

I want to go, but I can't afford it. Are there scholarships?
